Payment Policy
This Payment Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions governing the use of the our services. By subscribing to any paid plan, conducting an upgrade, or purchasing message credits, you agree to the payment terms set out below.
1. Subscription Plans and Billing Cycle Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated at checkout. Each subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal.
2. Trial Subscriptions and First Charge Where a free trial is offered, a valid credit or debit card is required at the point of trial activation. No charges are made during the trial period. Upon expiry of the trial, the selected subscription plan will automatically convert to a paid subscription and the full applicable subscription fee will be charged immediately unless the subscription is cancelled prior to trial expiry.
3. Immediate Charges for Non-Trial Subscriptions For users who subscribe without a trial, the applicable subscription fee is charged immediately upon successful checkout.
4. Mid-Cycle Upgrade and Proration If you upgrade from one paid plan to a higher-tier plan during an active billing cycle:
Your current subscription's unused time will be credited.
A prorated charge will be applied for the remaining time on the upgraded plan.
Your original billing anchor date will remain unchanged. The resulting Stripe-generated invoice reflects only the net difference for the remainder of the active billing cycle.
5. Upgrade Payment Success and Failure Handling Where an upgrade invoice is generated:
If payment is successful, your account is upgraded immediately.
If payment fails after the invoice is created and Stripe is unable to charge your card, the invoice will be cancelled, your account will remain on your current plan
It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment method has sufficient available balance and is kept up to date.
6. Cancellations and Refunds Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle. No pro-rated refunds or partial refunds are provided for any unused portion of a billing period once a charge has been successfully processed.
7. Promotional Codes and Discounts Promotional codes may be applied during Stripe checkout where available. A valid payment method is required even where a promotional discount is applied. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions initiated under a promotional offer will automatically renew at the standard published rate at the end of the promotional period unless cancelled prior to renewal.
8. Taxes All subscription fees, top-up charges, and other fees are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or similar governmental charges unless expressly stated otherwise. You are responsible for paying all Taxes associated with your purchases under these Customer Terms. If we have the legal obligation to collect Taxes for which you are responsible under these Customer Terms, we will include the Taxes on your invoice in addition to the applicable Fees. You are responsible for ensuring that information required and/or used to determine your Tax is accurate.
9. Price Changes We reserve the right to change our subscription fees and pricing at any time. Any changes to pricing will apply to subsequent billing cycles following notice to you in accordance with our Terms.
10. Disputes, Chargebacks and Processing Fees If you believe that any charge is incorrect, you must notify us in writing within seven (7) calendar days from the invoice date. Failure to raise a dispute within this period shall be deemed acceptance of the charge.
Chargebacks and payment disputes initiated through your card issuer or bank do not relieve you of your obligation to pay valid charges. Where a chargeback is initiated, we reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the Services until the matter is resolved.
All processing, transaction, and chargeback fees imposed by our payment processor are non-refundable and shall be borne by you to the extent permitted by law, regardless of the outcome of any dispute or chargeback.
11. Failed Recurring Payments If a scheduled subscription renewal payment fails:
Your account will be downgraded immediately to the Free plan with no grace period.
Stripe will not retry the failed renewal payment.
During this period, you will only have access to Free-tier features.
A notification email will be sent at the time of the failed charge, and the downgrade will occur immediately thereafter.
12. Payment Processing All payments are processed via Stripe or its designated payment processing partners. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees in accordance with this Payment Policy.
13. Changes to Payment Processor and Policy Acceptance We reserve the right to change, replace, or add payment processors at our discretion. Any such change may require updates to this Payment Policy. Your continued use of the Services after any change to our payment processor or payment-related terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Payment Policy.
