I set my max travel distance to 10km. Why does it show more or less than what I see on Google Maps?
There are different ways to measure distance.
- Some systems calculate straight-line distance (direct radius).
- Others calculate actual road distance (based on routes).
As MeetWithMe uses straight-line measurement, it may look shorter than Google Maps. But traffic conditions and chosen route can also change results.
Because of this, small differences are normal and expected. If you require very strict control, you may want to set a slightly lower buffer (e.g. 9km instead of 10km) to account for route variation.
