I have issue connecting my video meeting platform

Certain video calling platforms, such as Cisco Webex and Zoom, have two types of accounts: managed (enterprise or company) and personal. Our API calls are set up to connect with your account and do not require access to details of other users on the network. So, regardless of which type of account you are using, it usually doesn’t make a difference. Only apps that require access to other users’ details will request higher access rights.

However, if you are on a managed account, your administrator may make changes that limit what you can connect to or control which integrations are allowed. For example, if you use Google Calendar, you may need to sign in to Zoom through Google Calendar before you can manually send a calendar invite with a Zoom meeting link. Your account administrator can block this. In such cases, you would need to contact your account administrator if they have overly or mistakenly restricted certain connection rights, or consider switching to a personal account.

In practice, these video platforms provide us with a connection to your account so we can help create a video meeting link on your calendar. So instead of the usual Google Calendar → Zoom flow, it becomes MeetWithMe.ai → Google Calendar + Zoom. This is because we need to instruct Google Calendar to create the event and use Zoom as the meeting link. Your administrator may be able to restrict what you can do in this setup.

One way of finding out is to try connecting the video calling platform to your calendar directly. If it is blocked, then it is certainly your admin. But if it is not blocked, that may mean your admin choose to whitelist certain apps and you would have to find out from he or her directly.
